About Civil Litigation Consultancy
Practical support. Careful preparation. Clear strategy.
Civil Litigation Consultancy was created to provide focused, practical support to individuals and businesses involved in disputes, court proceedings and other contested matters.
OUR APPROACH
A considered approach to litigation support
Our work centres on understanding the case properly: the facts, the documents, the evidence, the procedural position and the outcome the client is trying to achieve.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, each matter is considered on its own facts. We review the relevant material, identify the issues that matter and help clients understand the practical options available to them.
Good case preparation is not about producing the longest letter or using the most legal terminology.
It is about identifying the point that matters, understanding what the evidence does and does not show, and presenting the client’s position clearly and persuasively.
HOW WE WORK
Clear from the outset
Civil Litigation Consultancy provides litigation support and McKenzie Friend assistance. Clients remain responsible for the conduct of their own proceedings, including filing and serving documents where required.
Where a matter requires regulated legal representation or specialist advice outside the scope of our services, we will say so.
About Kate
Kate completed the Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law, specialising in criminal law, before spending several years working within the criminal justice system and gaining experience in advocacy, evidence, case preparation and court procedure.
She realised very quickly that the justice system was not always delivering justice. With legal aid being cut and pressure increasing, too many cases seemed driven by speed, funding and disposal rather than by properly getting to the truth. It was not what she had gone into the profession for, and she walked away.
More than a decade later, a series of life events brought her back to legal work, but in a very different way. Rather than returning to traditional practice, she began helping people who were struggling with disputes, difficult correspondence, court proceedings and situations where something simply did not add up.
That eventually became Civil Litigation Consultancy.
Kate takes a hands-on, strategic approach to the cases she accepts. She looks closely at the evidence, questions assumptions and is prepared to approach a problem from a different angle when the obvious route is getting nowhere. Her focus is always on finding the strongest practical way forward and working towards the best possible resolution for the client.
Civil Litigation Consultancy was created to offer serious, practical litigation support outside the traditional law-firm model — clear, strategic and genuinely invested in the case.
